Tamro goes for new technique - temperature surveillance of medical transportation

Tamro has chosen to invest in a new surveillance system for transport, in order to minimize the risk of medicals taking damage during transportation.
Tamro is daily delivering medicals to every pharmacy in Sweden. In the process of strengthen the quality of transportation further, Tamro has chosen to look closer on how to improve the surveillance of the temperature of the cargo during transportation. Through a dialog with Guard System, which is specializing on surveillance within the transport segment, we found together a digital solution, which now are installed in approximately 200 trucks delivering cargo for Tamro.

“FleetGuard is a positioning system which monitors the temperature within the trailers cargo room. If a deviation occurs, e.g. the temperature decrease or increase, an alarm goes directly to the driver and Tamro, which means action can be taken immediately.
The solution also give Tamro better control of the fleet, as they now can follow all transportations in real time through a web based interface.
